I know that there are many questions that each of you have regarding the upcoming school year and our plans here at Boone for in-person learning. I certainly understand. In an effort to hopefully answer some of these questions and help everyone have a clearer idea of what “school” will look like on the 17th, I am holding an online Parent Meeting on Tuesday, August 10th from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. This will be a Zoom meeting. I will also simulcast the meeting through my YouTube channel. (This is the same method I used for the morning assemblies last school year.) I will post the YouTube link on the Boone Community Facebook page just before I begin the meeting. A sign language interpreter has been requested.
I plan to structure this meeting in the same format that I used this time last year. I will start with an overview of the safety precautions that will be in place, including mask guidelines. I will then walk you through the planned daily routine from arrival procedure through to dismissal. There will then be a bit of time for me to answer any questions to finish out the meeting.
I am also including a link below to a Google form for any questions you may have. (I did a similar form last year as well.) I am asking that you take a moment to submit any questions you may have. This will help guide me as I plan for the meeting on Tuesday evening.

I know that there are concerns out there and that our thoughts on certain safety protocols are varied. Regardless, that does not change the fact that we are all Boone Bears and we are a family that works, and plays, together. We can only successfully navigate the next few weeks if we stay positive and supportive.
I am looking forward to a fabulous year!!
See you on Tuesday evening,
