To Our Wonderful Boone Families,

I wanted to share some important information regarding the after school program at Boone ES for the 2020-21 school year.

I am happy to announce that beginning next fall, Boone will be moving to Extend-A-Care as the provider of our after-school program. I am excited about the opportunities and increased services Extend-A-Care will bring to our Boone families. EAC has recently teamed with the YMCA to provide access to YMCA programming and facilities for families, through this partnership. Most importantly, the EAC tuition rates are comparable to, or less than, what families are currently budgeting. 

In transitioning to Extend-A-Care, all current applications that were submitted to Third Base for next year will be honored by EAC. In addition, Third Base will be refunding the deposits made by any of our families for the 2020-21 school year. Third Base will be contacting those families directly.

More information regarding Extend-A-Care and their after-school program will be sent out in the coming days. While this change may come as a surprise to some, I am excited about the level of service and the quality of the program EAC will provide to our Boone families. I know this announcement will generate many questions. Please know that I will be working directly with EAC to provide you with the answers to all of your questions and that our foremost goal is to make this as seamless a transition as possible.
